A young trader Koval is pleased to have spotted in the distance after many weeks on the road through the Argoran Wastes to the fabled city of Deyak where she plans to sell to the nobles the most delicious and highly sought after yartain eggs which she spent many moons in the Setir Mountains with her Dhogu guides harvesting. As she nears the city she hears the howling and screeching of a pack of vicious grishak led by a larger Kopa which tracked the caravan after picking up the scent of the caravan and the eggs in tow. She panics as she demands the caravan guard perform their duty as she takes her laden baruk and herds them post haste to the city.
