Teral

Alternate Spelling: Tehral

Capital of Teralin. Currently fully occupied by the Delgon. These news have not yet reached the fubarnii capital and the emperor yet, however. Its inhabitants don’t realise they have been occupied either, but they are finding that their guests are slowly expecting more and more of them.

Teral is a reasonable size city, with a big council house/fortress sitting on a natural rocky outcrop at the mouth of a big river. The original city grew from that fortress with a strong wall to deter the devanu. It then expanded across the river and has since started to expand more beyond the walls, with new larger docks and a Dhogu shanty town to the west of the map.

The harbour in the map below is the old harbour - not really used for trade these days, but still maintained and often used by the Riverfolk who travel along the rivers. The main harbour is up to the North, outside the walls. That is closer to the resin farms, factories and warehouses. The docks just to the west of the city have been expanded recently by the Delgon, who have been buying up a lot of property in that region.

The Terali have reasonably extensive underground dwellings (although the sandy ground isn’t as well suited as some other areas of Anyaral).
