Ahvon drah Beyel

The city of Teral has plenty of colourful characters, not all of whom entirely follow the rules… Ahvon drah Beyel was born on the wrong side of the river, but has built himself up through various enterprises, not all of them legitimate. The well-born nobility thoroughly resent his position in society, but money talks and he now claims ownership of a large portion of the old docks, and can buy entry to all the best parties. His small army of dockworkers and enforcers make sure everything runs smoothly and his prize boliga fights draw crowds that include even the finest nobility. The arrival of the Delgon has been a mixed blessing for Ahvon. They have however started to intrude on his enterprises so he has found himself to be increasingly sympathetic to the dissidents…

The dissidents in Teral are enjoying an unusual allegiance between Ahvon drah Beyel and the Greencloaks of the city watch. It is currently unclear whether Ahvon has the local watch officers in his pocket…
