Raised Wrist

Back in the times when the devanu ruled the empire, the fubarnii would wear rings over their wrists to show secret devotion to each other - something that the devanu never really understood. During the tumultuous overthrow of the devanu, the fubarnii would raise up their wrists, the display of the bangles signifying that they were not broken and would keep going. Ever since, the raised wrist has been a way of showing that the fubarnii can keep going against whatever is thrown at them. A sign of stamina that has made its way into modern fashion.
