Cheese

Cheese is a secondary product of the egg glands from some species, secreted during the kopa life stage to provide sustenance to hatchlings. The stuff curdles naturally into a soft cheese-like structure with a hardened crust. Vareen cheese is renowned as a delicacy in the Empire. The yirnak also produce a cheese that is richly flavoured and an important part of Dhogu culture. Yox are more distant relatives, but rumours of yox cheese mountains have yet to be investigated.
