Tol el Anariin is the current Lanak of the Enipel clan, which places him at the head of a wealthy and powerful clan, The Enipel specialise in trade and the city of Peroeen acts as a hub for many of the trading families.

Even by Enipel standards, Tol el Anariin is an eccentric and bohemian character who spends his time sampling the finest pleasures from across the Empire that his almost endless supply of money can buy. With his keen intellect and extensive literary knowledge, he considers himself beyond equal in all areas of academic studies, from the finest details of enuk breeding to the complexities of open warfare, The lack of practical experience in almost all of these areas bothers him not and does not serve to reduce his confidence. Over recent years his sedentary lifestyle withing the confines of Peroeen, coupled with his excessive tastes, have led him to grow to an immense bulk. With his legs barely able to lift him anymore, he relies on various beasts and contraptions to move around his city, a thick fog of narcotics surrounding him wherever he goes.
