Elakiim

They say Elakiim is the first-born of a house that fell out of favour, its long honour roll lost and forsaken. Taken from her family many moons ago she, like many belonging to the other great houses, was fostered in the capital (an ancient custom originally intended to bind the families together, the fostering has devolved into an insurance policy of compliance). Elakiim had been growing up in the court before her house fell from favour and the terrible shame the fall brought led her to take the Postie's oath in an attempt to reclaim her honour. Although barely trusted by her superiors for many years, she has proven to be a resolute and dedicated courier, never once failing in her mission.
