Death In The Trees!

Kedashi Playtesting Battle Report #4

 Played on: July 22, 2017

For this now we played Death In The Trees! (Aka The Tree Killers), a scenario from World of Twilight Day 2017. We limited the Empire and Delgon to 450 points each.
The Delgon and Empire players were aware of each other’s goals, but not of the Kedashi’s.

The Enguan logging crews have been carving out great swathes of the Naralon forests. The Empire forces have tracked them down and are intent on disrupting their production. Meanwhile, the rulers of the forest have started to close in. The Delgon win if they escort either the Overseer priest or the wagon off the forest. The Empire wins if both the priest and wagon are destroyed. As for the Kedashi, they simply hate anything that holds an axe, so will try and kill those folks. As well as the commander of the Empire group, for good measure.

Some thoughts on the game and the rules
  • The Kiterak did not do much this time around.
  • The question is, apart from the attraction of putting a cool miniature on the table, would the 100 points be better spent replacing her with a kaopi and spending the remainder on frenu.
